New Year 2013 Acorn Powell Ltd. is very pleased to announce that 2012 was a record year for the business despite very challenging conditions in the construction industry. Trading in all sectors of our niche market, commercial stainless steel sanitaryware, has been good. We have particularly noted the steady increase in business from customers sourcing our products on-line. At the same time our loyal merchant outlets have received our continued support and have also shown some growth year on year. Our export business over the past year has been encouraging, with African nations showing the greatest percentage growth. Internally we have completed a major upgrade to our IT systems. Whilst this may not be immediately apparent to our customers, it will ensure that we are able to meet everyone’s needs well into the future. Our product range continues to expand. Hospital products have seen considerable growth in 2012. Perhaps the most interesting new development has been our ReZina solid surface washtrough range. These units have been in high demand for schools and at other facilities where a highly durable alternative to stainless steel has been required. All in all we feel confident that 2013 will see further growth and we will be doing all that we can to ensure that all our customers are able to share with us a profitable and prosperous New Year in 2013. |
